Children Learn what is Modeled for Them

This is one of the most powerful videos I've seen in a long time

That was hard for me to watch. Thanks for raising awareness. This was exactly the kind of thing that was modeled for me as a child...and worse. That's one of the biggest reasons I keep working my butt off in therapy, so I don't model that for my kid.

i agree parents need to leanr little eyes see much more than we think they do

Ya know, I think most men (especially) only think about affecting someone in a positive way. At work they will teach one thing while pilfering office supplies. At church they will act all "godly" and then cut someone off in the parking lot to get to lunch first. At home they will not curse, drink or smoke in front of the children but as the children lay in bed they are having a cursing war with their wife.

Kids learn by observation/example.
